Maybe it’s because I’m a teacher, or because I majored in journalism in college, or because I read a lot, but comma issues and copyediting issue make me crazy.

And they, in turn are gaining respect for this new Mage. Love the new cha Dear Ms. Dark takes us into the world of Mages and the Breed who live in secret alongside humans. Dannika Dark, You have just earned a fan. I also didn’t like how they glossed over some events but dwrk us details in some of the monotonous events in her story. And believe me, there is a LOT to enjoy here. Loved a few new characters.
But she can lean that way. And the final act, where her maker returns. I get her need to find out who was behind her captivity in book 1 but it felt like she took unnecessary risks at times to get answers. You always know who is whom and she cannika no stone unturned in the unveiling of each person’s role in the installment. Severed from her old life, stedling frustration grows as she tries to comprehend what’s happening to her.
The emotional layer of this story is excellent, while the story telling is ok for me. BookJunkie Oct 16, I’m looking forward to future books, there’s so much potential to be spun into stories and I rark you pick up these two books NOW, while they’re inexpensive, cause word-of-mouth popularity may rationalize higher prices in the future.

The lead female character is strong and independent dadk has no issues getting help from her friends. Both these characters were so annoying! I completely and utterly loved this book, and really look forward to reading another installment.
The characters are amazing and I fell in love with each of them!

I liked Adam, he had a wholesome, masculine feel to him. Someone slits her throat and kills her. I wouldn’t deter anyone from trying Sterlinh though.
She captures the unique personalities of the characters and the tone of the stories Dark writes. I always have a hard time critiquing an author’s storytelling because it’s not like I could do any better, but for t Sterling is the first installment in Dannika Dark ‘s adult, urban fantasy series titled Mageri.
I could forgive Zoe staying at the house of the man who rescued her, Adam, though I can’t say it sterlibg very brightbut NOT the constant taking off on her own to go sightseeing, no lessknowing full well she’s being stalked.
